February 21, 2007 Notification regarding absorption of and merger with subsidiary We hereby provide notification of the decision taken at the Board of Directors meeting of February 21, 2007, to absorb and merge with our wholly owned subsidiary TBK MR Co., Ltd. That company operated the proving grounds we used for vehicle tests. This decision was made, however, to improve the efficiency of the resources of the group as a whole. As a result, the proving grounds at Obihiro, Hokkaido, will be directly operated by this company. Our company shall be the surviving company, and TBK MR Co., Ltd. will be disbanded.
