Aug. 1949 Isuzu Buhin Kogyo Co., Ltd. was established.

Mar. 1951 Tokyo Brake Industries Co., Ltd. was established

Oct. 1956 Tokyo Buhin Kogyo Co., Ltd. was established as a result of the merge between Isuzu Buhin Kogyo Co., Ltd and Tokyo Brake Industries Co., Ltd

Dec. 1957 Constructed a new factory at 3-30-17 Haginaka, Ota, Tokyo. Relocated the headquarters and factory to new site

Aug. 1963 Absorption-type merger with Daiichi Seiki Co., Ltd.

Sep. 1970 Established Tokyo Seiko Co., Ltd. in Fukushima as a subsidiary

Nov. 1971 Listed on the second section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange

Jan. 1972 Relocated headquarters and factory to 1-6-1 Tsukimino, Yamato, Kanagawa

Sep. 1973 Established Tsuruoka Brakes Co., Ltd. in Yamagata as a subsidiary

Dec. 1983 Tokyo Buhin Rockwell Co., Ltd. was established as a joint venture with Rockwell International Corp. in the U.S.A. (predecessor of TBR Co., Ltd.)

Feb. 1986 Established T.B.K. Sales Co., Ltd. as a subsidiary (currently a consolidated subsidiary operating under the name of TBK Sales Co., Ltd.)

Mar. 1990 TBK Krungthep Co., Ltd. was established as a joint venture with CM Industries in Thailand

Nov. 1990 TBR Co., Ltd. merged and absorbed Tsuruoka Brakes Co., Ltd. (currently Tsuruoka Plant)

Aug. 1995 Established Full Win Developments Ltd. in Hong Kong as a subsidiary (currently a consolidated subsidiary)

Oct. 1996 TBK Brake Co., Ltd. was established as a joint venture with CM Industries in Thailand (currently a consolidated subsidiary operating under the name of TBKK (Thailand) Co., Ltd.)

Oct. 1998 TBK India Private Ltd. was established as a joint venture in India

May. 1999 Relocated factory to 304-7 Miyanomae, Kawabe, Tamakawa, Ishikawa, Fukushima

Jun. 1999 Relocated headquarters to 4-21-1 Minami-naruse, Machida, Tokyo

Nov. 2000 Constructed Tokyo Buhin Kogyo Building on the footprint of the former headquarters (“Tsukimino Saty” (Tsukimino Aeon shopping mall)) as the first step in rental building business

Jan. 2002 Established TBK America, Inc. in the U.S.A. as a subsidiary (currently a consolidated subsidiary)

Mar. 2004 Disposed of all business rights of TBK Krungthep Co., Ltd. to TBK Brake Co., Ltd.

Mar. 2005 Listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange

Jul. 2005 Changed trading name to TBK Co., Ltd.

Aug. 2005 Changchun TBK SHILI Auto Parts Co., Ltd. was established as a joint venture with Changchun Shili Automobile Brake Parts Co., Ltd. in China (currently a consolidated subsidiary)

Nov. 2006 Began operation at TBK America, Inc.’s Richmond Plant

Jan. 2007 Certified ISO/TS16949

May. 2007 Established TBK China Co., Ltd. in China as a subsidiary (currently a consolidated subsidiary operating under the name of Dongguan TBK Co., Ltd.)

Feb. 2011 Established Qiaotou TBK Co., Ltd. in China as a subsidiary (currently a consolidated subsidiary operating under the name of Dongguan TBK Co., Ltd.)

Sep. 2011 Made TBK India Private Ltd. a subsidiary (currently a consolidated subsidiary)

Apr. 2012 Established Changchun FAW Sihuan TBK Co., Ltd. as a joint venture with Changchun FAW Sihuan Automobile Brake Co., Ltd. in China (currently an affiliated company by equity method operating under the name of Changchun FAWSN TBK Co., Ltd.)

Oct. 2014 Established TBK TECHNOLOGY (THAILAND) CO., LTD. in Thailand as a subsidiary (currently a consolidated subsidiary)

Feb. 2017 Sold Tokyo Buhin Kogyo Building on the footprint of the former headquarters (Tsukimino Aeon shopping mall)

Apr. 2022 Shifted from the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange to the Prime Market by reviewing the market classification of the Tokyo Stock Exchange

Oct. 2023 Shifted from the Prime Market to the Standard Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange

Jan. 2024 Absorption-type merger with Tokyo Seiko Co., Ltd. and TBR Co., Ltd.
